Yep: Feat backing Robert doing Allen tune - Sneaking Sally thru the Alley and most every track of that album. Of course, got to love Feat doing Allen's "On The Way Down". If you haven't heard it, I LOVE the Elvis/Allen collaboration "The River In Reverse" - so good. As an aside, my favorite Phil and Friends show I saw was with Billy Payne and Paul Barerre in the band. Dead meet Feat doing Coltrane's A Love Supreme. Damn, it was good.

Robben Ford was also in that version of P&F--saw 'em with Zimmy in Sac summer of 2000, I think. First post-Jerry show I saw--I thought it was excellent, as well. One of my buddy's wife had had too many big beers, and was not shy about expressing her disapproval quite loudly after the show. It was pretty funny at the time, but it seems her opinion is shared by many. I've seen Phil 5 or 6 times, and really enjoyed the shows. Not the GD, but it worked for me in a pretty big way. Some serious jamming...

Check that - it was My Favorite Things. So, not a Coltrane original, but definitley in that vein.
